Polyvinyl Alcohol PVA 1799

Polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH, PVA) is awater-soluble synthetic polymer. It has the idealized formula [CH2CH(OH)]n. Itis used in papermaking, textile warp sizing, as a thickener and emulsionstabilizer in polyvinyl acetate (PVAc) adhesive formulations, in a variety ofcoatings, and 3D printing.

It is colourless (white) and odorless.It is commonly supplied as white flake, flocculent or powder solid. Without anexternally added crosslinking agent, PVA solution can be gelled throughrepeated freezing-thawing, yielding highly s trong, ultrapure, biocompatiblehydrogels which have been used for a variety of applications such as vascularstents, cartilages, contact lenses, etc.

Application for fabric sizing agent,fabric finishing agent, paper surface sizing agent, paper pigment binder,thermosetting resin modifier, ferrite binder, dispersant, coating, PVF, etc.
